Bird Scavenger Hunt

Explore the halls of Summit to discover Wisconsin birds of various kinds painted to scale upon the ceiling and walls. Can you find and identify them all?

About the Artists:

Kevin Baird is a retired 2nd grade teacher who taught at Summit for several years. His classroom's mantra was "It's not about me, it's about US." He also painted the outside wall river scene, WISCONSIN FORWARD 1848 with state symbols in the foyer, the map of French Island as you enter the library, and the trees in the library.

Mike Freisinger is a retired art teacher .He painted the frogs and butterflies by the drinking fountains on the west end of the building.
