Student Council
Welcome to Summit Environmental School’s Student Council!
Student Council is a student government group made up of one student from each classroom in grades first through fifth (this is in addition to any officers in your room). It is a way for students to have a say in running the school and to make Summit Environmental School a better place to be. Some of our past activities include running the School Store, perishable food donations for i-feed and WAFER, animal supply donations for the Humane Society and sponsoring the Aluminum Recycling Contest. We have also paid for many projects including playground equipment, the school garden, and buses for all-school field trips!
We are looking for a very productive year!
Ms. Jacobson, Ms. Tresemer
Student Council meets in the library right after school at 2:25 every other Thursday. Meetings go until 3:25. If you cannot attend, please let Ms. Jacobson or Ms. Tresemer know to arrange an alternate from that classroom. These dates are subject to change but will be given notice if anything comes up.
We are excited to plan our Summit Fun Days, organize fundraisers and help our school and community in a positive way! Thank you for joining us!
